Surf’s Calling, London! A wave pool is one step closer to reality
September 27, 2025Surf London, a $60 million wave pool project in North London, has received planning approval and is slated to open in 2027, giving Londoners their very own waves!
Surfing is coming in strong to London! The facility, located at Lee Valley Park, will create consistent waves for surfers of all levels. The project has been approved by the council and is now moving to the Mayor’s office for final sign-off.
When will the building start?
Work is set to kick off in 2026.
When can you start surfing?
Construction is planned to be completed by 2027, bringing a unique urban surf destination to North London!
