The social aspect is a big part of the camp life, and that makes our surf camps perfect also for solo travellers. It’s a great place to meet new people. Still, everyone does their own thing, their own way.

What can I expect of Lapoint surf camps?
For beginners, a surf camp is a great way to try surfing in a fun and safe environment. Starting with professional teachers that make sure you are in the right spot at the right tide with the right equipment is something we really recommend in order to give you the best possible start. A surf camp with us is also a great setup for single travellers interested in doing a surf trip.
For beginners, a surf camp is a great way to try surfing in a fun and safe environment. Starting with professional teachers that make sure you are in the right spot at the right tide with the right equipment is something we really recommend in order to give you the best possible start. A surf camp with us is also a great setup for single travellers interested in doing a surf trip.
Also for intermediates, who are want to level up their game or just want to go on a nice surf vacation, a surf camp is a great option. You can take lessons to improve, there is equipment to rent and our instructors have a lot of know-how about how to tap into the local spots and surfing conditions. And, lots of nice people to hang out with!
The staff are all surfers and can guide you, and there are always plenty of opportunities to find a surf buddy at a surf camp since the experience draws like-minded people from all around the world.
Advanced surfers can enjoy great accommodation from a surf trip perspective, and will find a great place for meeting others on surf trip missions. Find a new surf buddy, get pointers on where to surf when or just meet great people to hang out with.
Tag along on activities, go for a session in the skate bowl, come for dinners and stretch the shoulders in the yoga sessions. There are so much more to enjoy at our surf camp than in a hotel. Come over, hang out and let’s go surfing!

A home for digital nomads
Not only is a surf camp a great place for an amazing surf holiday, but it’s also a great option for digital nomads to combine work with life in a surfer's paradise. At our camp in Ericeria, Portugal, we have a big coworking space where you can get your work done before hitting the waves. The work/life balance can't really get much better, can it?
Sustainability
The beach is our home. We are leaving it better than we found it.
We have made a commitment to our ocean, beaches and community. They are our playground, our home and our livelihood. We are going to leave them better than we found them. That means that all our employees, friends and guests helps out with recycling and taking other actions for the environment. Each week there are beach cleaning and recycling activities to ensure that our home stays the way it was supposed to be.
