All-girl surf trip to Morocco

In a celebration of friendships, freedom and flawless waves, former British female surfing champion Laura Lou Crane recently brought a few of her friends to Morocco on an all-girl surf trip.

Staying at our camp in Taghazout, this good energy crew consisting of Théa Mouysset from France, Emilie Uttrup from Denmark and Mariana Rocha Assis from Portugal were keen to explore the vibrant culture, the people and the many playful waves on offer.

Based in Taghazout, right in the middle of the action, they indulged in activities like sandboarding in the desert, yoga, skateboarding and shopping at the unique, traditional souk market. However, it was the ocean that got most of their attention, as Laura explains, “with so many world-class spots close to the camp, we surfed amazing waves every day, often with only us girls in the water”, she said.

Thea chimed in: “The locals are amazing, so friendly and helpful, and the scenery blew me away, so very different and exotic. I can’t wait to come back”, she said.
