WHAT WILL I LEARN?

Based on her vast experience from teaching yoga in India Jamaica, Hawaii, Spain, Costa Rica and Panama, Greta has carefully curated a schedule of yoga workshops, sound healing sessions and surf lessons for your enjoyment.  

 

From a background of physio & psychology education, combined with 400 RYT Yoga, Sound/Nada, Massage training and the best possible surf lessons, Greta and Lapoint are excited to present this rejuvenation experience for your physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

 

Give yourself the opportunity to recharge and be reminded of what a great gift it is to be alive!

A TYPICAL DAY

We rise with the sun and start the day gently with group meditation and a yoga class before feasting on our delicious breakfast buffet.

 

After breakfast, we head to the beach to enjoy the ocean in a surf lesson.


Later we invite you to a post-surf lunch with the group before a few hours of free-time, perfect for soaking in the sun, reading or having a massage – whatever your heart desires.


In the late afternoons and evenings we have a second yoga class, workshop, group activity or excursion as part of a varied and fun-filled program.

ARRIVAL

      • Arrival & departure day is Sunday.

        Unpack, settle in and unwind. You are invited to join us for a chat and a complimentary welcome smoothie to enjoy while we get to know each other.

 

TRANSFER

  • We offer airport transfers for €50 per person/return trip on Sundays on a set schedule.

    There are several other ways of getting to Ericeira, for instance by local bus from Lisbon for less than €10 or a taxi from the airport for no more than €75/each direction.

    We’ll send you more details about pick-ups and transport options once your booking is confirmed.

 

MEALS

      • A tasty breakfast buffet is served every morning from 8.00-10. 00.

        Lunch is available in the a la carte restaurant.

        We organize dinners every night, where everyone’s invited to join, either at the camp or at local restaurants in town.

THE RETREAT LEADER

 Greta Grøndahl is a 400hrs RYT yoga teacher, massage and sound therapist dedicated to the journey towards a more conscious, alive & loving life.

 

Originally from Sweden, now with more than five years international teaching experience, she has trained with Marianne Wells Yoga school in Costa Rica and Anandra George in Kauai before completing 200 hr Nada yoga training in India.

 

Greta teaches the traditions of Hatha, Vinyasa, Bhakti, Yin, Yoga massage, Kirtan, Shakti and Restorative although she recognises that all the different styles grow from the same seed of love and self-recognition.

 

Greta appreciates the magic in people’s yoga journey and considers it her honour to share the knowledge passed on to her by her teachers.

HOW MANY guests ARE IN EACH GROUP?

The retreat is restricted to maximum 16 guests to provide an optimal experience.

 

HOW MANY SURFERS ARE IN THE WATER AT THE SAME TIME?

There are up to six surfers per instructor in the group lessons.

All instructors are certified and trained in ocean rescue, CPR & first aid to ensure maximum safety at all times.

 

CAN I PURCHASE ADDITIONAL SURF LESSONS IF I WANT TO SURF MORE?

Yes, you certainly can! Both group lessons and private classes are available.

7:00- 8:15 Welcome meeting in yoga shala. Opening Circle, info, announcements, meet & greet for late arrivals. Guided meditation followed by subtle yoga movements. Theme: Earth. Find your roots. 

Tuesday:

6:45 – Meditation
7:00- 8:15 – Yoga & Pranayama. Theme: Fire. Let’s get ecstatic! Move like nobody’s watching.
8:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast
10:00 – 12:00 – Surf lesson.
16:15- 19:00 – Yoga Workshop – Turn your world upside down (Head, forearm, handstand)

Wednesday:

6:45 – Meditation.
7:00- 8:15 – Yoga & Pranayama –Partner yoga. Theme: Heart. We are in this together. 
8:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast.
10:00 – 12:00 – Surf.
15.00- 18.00 Vineyard visit to renowned Sant’Ana winery. Includes a presentation of the winery and winemaking process, wine tasting and fun with your friends! (paid separately)

Thursday:

6:45 – Meditation.
7:00- 8:15 – Yoga & Pranayama – Peaceful Warrior flow Theme: Ring the bell. Sound
8:00 – 10:00 – Silent Breakfast.
17:30 – 19:00 – Meditative silent sunset walk on the beach and Bhakti Yoga (Kirtan). Theme: Power of sound. Jamming, singing & expressing in the group.

Friday:

6:45 – Meditation
7:00- 8:15 – Yoga & Pranayama – Blindfolded practice. Theme: Light. Go within. 
8:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast.
10:00 – 12:00 – Surf.
13:00 – 17.00 Excursion to Sintra. Group activity, free time and lunch. (lunch paid separately) 
18:00 – 19:00 – Yoga rest – Sound healing. A session designed to relieve stress, help you relax and improve your mood.

Saturday:

6:45 – Meditation.
7:00- 8:15 – Yoga & Pranayama. Theme: Soak in, share out.
8:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast.
10:00 – 12:00 –  Group and individual activity. Theme: Journaling – Rewrite your story.
17:30 – 18:45 – Closing circle: YES to life! 

Sunday (departure):

6:45 – 8:15 – Meditation and own practice.

8:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast.

10:00 Check out.
